Summary Description

Wenvoe is now largely a commuter village serving Cardiff but within is area lies Dyffryn Gardens, now in the care of the National Trust who are in the process of recreating the once magnificent gardens. The building was owned by John Cory who had widespread coal shipping activities supplying coaling stations across the world with Welsh Steam Coal. John Wesley preached in the church nine times at the invitation of the rector. Reference The Encyclopaedia of Wales
