Llanpumsaint is set in a delightful section of the Gwili valley. William Williams 1788-1865, the MP for Coventry, who was the author of the question in the House of Commons which lead to the ‘Report on Education in Wales’ – ‘The Treason of the Blue Books’, was a native of the parish.
