Summary Description

The church is romantically set in a steeply wooded valley surrounded by rhododendrons. At Mullock there is a bridge which was used by Rhys ap Thomas to lie beneath when Henry Tudor, having landed nearby rode over the bridge en route for Bosworth Field, this was to fulfil a vow taken by Rhys. 400m south-west of the church and buried in the sand dunes on the edge of the foreshore is a deserted medieval settlement.
